Electronic Development Control Engineer
Polar Power Inc. is looking for a versatile and creative person to support new product development and production of hybrid and renewable energy systems. You can learn the hybrid and renewable energy systems on the job; but you will require strong capability in: Analog and digital circuit design, LabVIEW, C and CAN bus programming, automation of production, and documentation.
As a small company we need a very versatile person. Our goal is to find an individual capable of the following job duties:
- Support product development with electronic design skills.
- Support the transition of prototypes into manufacturing and production.
- Monitor technical performance and schedules related to manufacturing production.
- Establish, document and execute manufacturing test procedures and practices.
- Establish and execute corrective action plans.
- Develop and support test plans to ensure product characteristics meet customer/product performance and quality requirements.
- Develop and maintain test software (LabView Proficiency Required).
- Develop test processes to support ongoing production of military and commercial products.
- Draft, publish and maintain written test procedures and other manufacturing test documentation.
- Develop preventive maintenance procedures for test equipment and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and procedures to optimize through put.
